It’s not uncommon for Steve Spangler to want to launch a rocket at 9NEWS, but on Thursday, he wanted to do it indoors.

It’s a science lesson in the chemistry of ethanol, and Spangler joined 9NEWS’ Jack Maher who is wearing one of his many flame-retardant outfits.
